Can the Broncos Offense Get Going? Plus, Jerry Jones’s Wild Tales and More NFL News.

Gilhave a ton of impact but now you have an extra week of that I think the unsatisfying part about this game is six months ago, eight months ago, whatever it was, this is a Super Bowl matchup people were longing for. And now you have this game week five, week six of the season this year.

GilAnd it's not really a game that I think people are longing for just because of how much the Broncos have been struggling and the Seahawks are trying to figure things out too. So very quickly, they went from like the cream of the crop. And I feel like the Seahawks are still there and the Broncos, if they figure it out, will be up there in the AFC.

GilBut right now, I don't think anyone's looking at this as a potential Super Bowl preview where eight months ago, this is the game they wanted to see. I

Pelisserostill think it can be. And frankly, if Bo Nix doesn't break his foot on the next to last play in the divisional playoff game, that might have been the Super Bowl last year. This Broncos team, they don't have Jonathan Cooper right now. He's on the exempt list. I would think they get him back at some point.

PelisseroThat's really impacted their pass rush, which to this point has just not been what it was last year.

PelisseroYou know, flip side of it, to me, one of the most disappointing players so far this season is Jalen Waddell. He had one big game in week two. They beat the Jaguars. The other four games combined, I just double check this, four games combined other than that week two matchup, Jalen Waddell, 10 catches for 66 yards total.

PelisseroThat is his total in the other four games. And there's a bunch of drops in there for Waddle. Like that was, you trade your first round pick for him. You're expecting as much as, yes, his hands have not always been his number one asset, but he's had the speed. You're thinking this guy's gonna be able to change how he play offensively.
