KapadiaWe know what we're getting from the coaching staff. And it just hasn't played out the way I think we thought it was going to play out. If you just looked at the record, he'd be like, Stroud must be the reason. But that game against the Cowboys on Sunday, he was on fire, threw for 347 yards, didn't have a turnover, had eight completions of 20 plus yards, the most by any quarterback in a game this season.

KapadiaHe leads them down the field in the fourth quarter, puts what's supposed to be an elite defense on the field to hold the game. And they couldn't do it. And they didn't do it for the second game in a row. So I just think we have to be fair when we talk about the Texans, when we talk about Stroud.

KapadiaI'm not a hipster. I'm not a CJ Stroud truther. who's like, oh, baby, look at him getting to this backside dig. You guys don't know ball the way I know ball. I'm not even in that camp. I just think he's played well enough for them to be better this season. And Billy, I'll surprise you with this one.

KapadiaI don't think they're completely cooked. I know they're 0 -4. I know the history. These are like coin flip games that they're guessing heads every time and it's tails every single time. I still think they're a decent team that has a chance to go on a run the rest of the way and like sneak into one of those wildcard spots.

GilSo you don't have CJ Stroud as being the reason. Did you have the reason that you have? Like, do you have a primary reason? Because I was looking up, so I was trying to prepare for a number of different directions that you could go in here and see like, okay, it's not CJ Stroud.

GilSo let's start looking. And it's like, hmm, the run game has been pretty bad. They've only got, you know, 79 rushing yards per game on average here. And only the Bengals are worse. David Montgomery, he's averaging a lot less than he was last year. He has 20 carries for 60 yards the first week.

GilAnd after that, I mean, he hasn't done a ton more. He's 29, so he's getting older. But he's averaging 4.1 yards per carry this season or over his career. Only 2.7 yards per game this year. So he's a lot down or much further down than he was last season. So that's a notable thing.
