The Patriots Are Back, the Chargers Are Done, and More Week 4 Story Lines

PelisseroDrew Petsing, revenge game, the offensive coordinator going back against his old team in Arizona. This is, I hate to say must wins in week five, but this feels like one. The Cardinals are competitive every single week. They've scuffled over these last few weeks to try to finish off these games, but they're going to be in their building.

PelisseroTwo and three going into your bye is going to feel like, what do we do now? Three and two, you get a win. you still got your entire NFC North slate ahead of you. They come out of the bye against the Packers and the Vikings both at home. You're three and two going into those games and the division feels wide open.

PelisseroI wouldn't feel that bad about it. Right now, just the defense isn't good enough and Brad Holmes doesn't have a long history of trading high draft picks for players. I don't know what individual player, frankly, is going to fix what's going on on defense. They have to find an identity. They have to get branched back.

PelisseroThey probably do have to make a move of some kind before the deadline. It's just a lot of pieces.

PelisseroOtherwise, it's going to be all right. Jared, congrats. You're scoring 30 a game. We're going to need 40 instead.

KapadiaI know that's the problem is that their offense is good. It's a top five offense by any metric you can look at. And it's like, do you want to waste that in a year where you have an easy schedule and it feels like there's no juggernaut in the NFC? There are good teams.

KapadiaAnd Dan Campbell had that quote we all know back in the day where he's like, that could be our only chance. I just wonder if there's some point where they feel that sense of urgency and they're like, it might be out of character for us to make a move like this, but now's the time.
