BillWe're going to do a new gimmick. You're going to open a six... Normally, I open the six -pack up on this podcast. You're going to open a six -pack. We're going to do six things that you're fascinated in as we tape this Thursday late afternoon, Eastern time.

BillJackson Dart Giants, tell me what's going on. Do they feel like the season's over? How do they fix this? Can they fix it?

PelisseroThere's a lot of moving parts right now with the Giants. For right now, they paid Jameis Winston. He's going to be the starting quarterback. Jay Kaner's in line to back him up this week. But I would not be surprised at all if we see them add a quarterback over the next few weeks here.

PelisseroJameis' play and how things go for the Giants is going to determine what type of quarterback and what role that guy's in. If you look at their schedule, you couldn't ask for a better time to be figuring out, can we win a game with our backup quarterback? You got Tennessee at home, Arizona at home, and Washington when Jaden Daniels is probably still not back.

PelisseroI mean, those are the best three games you could possibly have. You know, are they three and two at the end to that? Are they one in four?

PelisseroHow does that influence exactly what Joe Shane and John Harbaugh want to do? I would tell you, they definitely want to add a quarterback, whether that's a younger guy, whether that's a veteran quarterback. There's obviously not a lot of like legit walk -in -the -door starters unless you're going to drag, you know, Derek Carr or Ryan Tannehill or somebody off the couch and hope for the best.

PelisseroSo you're probably realistically bringing in somebody to be behind Jameis, at least initially, but they are going to try to add another quarterback here. And again, the spot that they're in will probably kind of dictate exactly what quarterback that is.
