In context
He was practicing earlier this week. Is that because he's going to play on Sunday versus the Jets, or is this going to be, hey, practice this week, see how you feel, see how you bounce back, then short week Thursday night next week at Chicago is probably where they're aiming for.
RapoportA couple quick injury things before I get to A.J. Brown. Lamar was just ruled out. I'm sure we'll get to that, but Lamar was just ruled out by Jesse Minter. And then Ben Johnson said about Caleb, nothing firm. More information today, but he's on track. So positive vibes there.
RapoportAs far as A.J. Brown goes, so I was told this was about a six -week injury. Usually high ankles are four to six weeks. This is week four. It is awfully fast. So practice this week, I don't believe he's been full yet.
RapoportI'd be surprised if he played and wasn't previously a full participant in practice. So we'll find out more tomorrow. We'll find out what he's listed today. My guess is he'll be limited and questionable.
RapoportBut it would be incredibly quick to play. Now, he wants to play. I know that.
RapoportIt's a long season, and he's a huge part of it. Makes no sense to rush him out there. So, like, they're going to have to know for sure that he's ready for him to play.
McAfeeOkay, so let's make sure that we know if A.J. Brown's healthy. That'll be great for Drake May. They're back to winning football. Good for them on that front. Let's go to Lamar Jackson, just ruled out.
