BillGuys lift each other up. You need good luck with injuries. You need guys at the right points of their career. And it felt like OKC had that this year. And now it's flipped the other way where this is now a what -if team. I don't think they have enough now. And what's harder for them is there's not really a trade.

BillYou know, when Sal and I talked about this on Sunday night right after it happened, and I mentioned how it was hard because they have big salaries and small salaries, nothing in between.

BillThere's tax stuff with them. They have a trade exception. You know, could they give up one of the, they still have some good picks left. Could they give up one of them for somebody like Herb Jones? Sure.

BillCould they get a little more aggressive and maybe use the Hartenstein contract and some other stuff to go get a bigger one? Maybe. but my guess is they're probably gonna bet on their young guys and bet on um all these guys all these picks they've stockpiled guys who barely played let's throw them out once and for all let's give everybody minutes let's try to tread water and still be a top three team in the west

Billand see where we are early february right before trade deadline and then make a decision then and not before then but maybe they just decide we're gonna get at least wallace back in april may and nobody's probably gonna pull away from us and that's how they handle it presti is not a panic guy the only time i ever remember him really kind of panicking was that last kd season before kd went to the warriors when they made that it

BillAnd that was the only time he wasn't patient and careful and calculated. So I think he's going to be patient, careful, calculated. Big question for me with this team.
