Eagles Defense Provides Hope! Film Review

KapadiaDo we see signs of life?

KapadiaWhat stood out? Do you agree with me? I watched the film of that defense and I go, now I'm remembering what I liked about this defense in 25, in 24 with Vic Fangio, with the coverage, the communication, the lack of air in the coverage, the pass rush up front with Jalen Carter, Zach Bond, it look just looking like there's seven Zach Bonds out there with the way he's playing.

KapadiaSo I came away from that and I'll give you the numbers in a minute here. I came away very pumped about this defense thinking, you know what?

KapadiaThey got to do it for more than one week, but it would not surprise me if we looked up a month from now, six weeks from now, we're like, Oh, that London game. That was actually the start of a really good run for the Seagulls defense.

SyedI,

Syedfeel great about it. I loved it. I really, really was quite excited. I think particularly in the first half, the communication on the back end shield, that was number one. That was something that has frustrated me all across this season. They've tried multiple people at safety. They've tried ways where, hey, we're just going to drop to spots.

SyedWe're not going to mash things. We're not going to pass things off in the way we've been doing.
