In context
KapadiaMoro Ojimo is a guy. Remember, Milton Williams got paid a couple years ago. that's a player who's probably going to set to hit free agency who's going to get a big deal if you're not in the mix I could see teams being interested in a player like that I mean who knows with someone like Saquon Barkley you know at the deadline so I think they got this a big month for them it's kind of a big pivot point in
Kapadiathis era of Eagles football with Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurst that's been so successful over the last four five years gotten to the Super Bowl twice won a Super Bowl but now you're looking at the roster and you're saying all right you're not as good on the offensive line, which has always been the foundation of the team.
KapadiaSome of the other spots on offense, you traded AJ Brown. You've got some injuries on defense. You fire, you got rid of your offensive line coach in the off season. There's just been so many moving parts since the end of last season that while I think right now they would love to win games and be competitive and figure this thing out offensively and be in the mix in December and January.
KapadiaIf it does go South, I don't think Howie Roseman will hesitate to lean a little bit more towards the future than the current.
PelisseroI think we always also need to level set anytime we're talking about the Eagles because you live there, Sheel. Everything is DEFCON 1. Every Eagles loss is fire everybody, blow it up. It's all terrible.
PelisseroAnd I think that we have to remember, Nick Sirianni has the highest winning percentage of any active head coach who has been on the job at least five years. He's been to two Super Bowls. He's won one of them. And Jalen Hurts, during that playoff run and in that Super Bowl, was a well -earned Super Bowl MVP.
PelisseroHe was playing at that high of a level. The biggest question to me, and we talked about this through the course of camp, was going to be, you're bringing in Sean Mannion, and that McVay, Shanahan, O 'Connell, LeFleur, all those guys that Sean Mannion played for or coached with. It's that style of offense.
