PelisseroHe's gotten hurt basically every season of his career and he's missed time. If he doesn't do that, if he plays all 17 games and finishes with a 126 passer rating, I find it hard to believe that he's not right there with those other guys. And then you get into the subjectivity of the voting.

PelisseroAnd what are we actually basing it on? When I had a vote for those awards, I would basically pull people in the league and let them cast the vote for me because I ultimately don't know what I'm looking at. They do. There's other people who just vote based on their gut or vote based on, you know, whatever highlight reel they saw.

PelisseroAnd everyone gets to do that. I don't think there's any, you know, real ground rules that the AP has other than, you know, you can't vote for like non -football stuff. Like you don't like a guy or his politics or whatever. You can't vote against him for that.

PelisseroBeyond that, you can vote for whoever you want. You know, and then we would see, you know, if Josh Allen finishes the season like Josh Allen and not like some of the bumps we've seen over the last two weeks, he's probably just going to get, if you're on the fence, you'd lean Josh Allen because he's Josh Allen.

PelisseroBut Brock, what he does, it's unmatched in the entire NFL. His only issue he's had in his career is health. So far this season, he is healthy. I got a chance to talk with him in Australia before they played the Rams in week one. He's very confident. He's very comfortable in his skin.

PelisseroHe's going back a little bit to just being very intentional about being coachable and getting some things maybe grounded back that might have gotten away from him the past couple of years. He looks awesome so far. So I absolutely have taken seriously the idea of him as an MVP candidate.

KapadiaIt's been a pretty predictable award over the years, to your point. You know, people vote on different things, but it usually, last year was an exception, but usually it's just like, look at the one in the two seat in each conference and who's the best quarterback out of those four teams. I mean, that's really what it has come down to most of the time over the last 10.
