LeBron Injury Update and Giannis Fit! Big Questions

LoweBut, you know, centers, some centers, slower centers, have a hard time staying with Giannis. And the Raptors wanted Jakob Pertl on Bam and not Giannis.

LoweAnd a lot of teams will match that.

LoweWiggins, they apparently went to Wiggins and just like, I want you to shoot 15 threes a game. Because that dude was just like letting it fly with hands in his face the whole game.

LoweAnd they clearly are going to carry over some of what they did last year offensively. They ran some of that same Noah LaRose dribble drive stuff. It wasn't all pick and roll. Giannis was a screener a lot. So interesting. TBD didn't really change my view of the Heat. I think they're good, but we'll see how great they can be.

LoweOkay. The next two of the big four things that happened in the East are both contract related. We will start today. Carl Anthony Towns basically came out and told the media, I'll read the quote. Simply put, I want to do something to keep the team together and can work with the Knicks and also values me.

LoweNone of these things are close to happening. AKA he basically said, we're not close to an extension. Doesn't sound optimistic about getting an extension. I think they're pretty far apart from what I've heard.

LoweObviously they met, they let Mitchell Robinson go already after James Dolan followed up an NBA championship by immediately being like, yeah, we can't keep this team together. Second apron can't do it.
