In context
HofmannThis is extreme. Like this is, is pretty crazy,
Hofmannbut I don't have to, we, none of us has to go over the top here and compliment these guys for, for playing hard and, and doing sort of the bare minimum. Like it's bad offensive football. It's just, it's bad. I think the front office sees that it's bad. It's largely probably their fault because the personnel isn't that good on, on that side of the ball.
HofmannBut like you can't really sugarcoat 30th in the league in offense. That is not the Philadelphia Eagles standard. And it's also why I find it hard to be too positive about this, because if your offense ranks 30th in the league, yeah, maybe you can get a little bit better. Maybe you can do a few things.
HofmannIt's not a sustainable formula to even really be a playoff team, like much less a contender. So it's a big issue. I don't know how they fix it outside of like getting Devontae back is going to be huge. I think like that, that is a big deal. He probably is their most valuable guy.
HofmannCause I think he just, you need that level of juice on the outside and a guy that the defense is legitimately scared about.
HofmannBut yeah, I mean, it's bad offense and, and they're the reason they lost the game. Like during the feel good vibes of the defense and, and all the stops, they're just going three and out at an incredible pace.
HofmannIt might not be anybody's fault, but it's bad.
