NBA Is BACK! Plus, Commanders-49ers Recap, and the World Series Is Set. | Ringer Wise Guys

HouseI love their over for the win total. I think roster -wise they improved. I do think they will miss Dean Wade, but the Peyton Watson addition just can't say enough about what I think in terms of what that will open up for them. And especially, I think there's another level for Evan Mobley.

HouseEven with all of that, I like their depth. They went 21 -9 after they acquired James Harden. You can make all the jokes you want about James Harden, But that team did make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. Now, they had to play in seven -game series in round one and round two.

HouseBut when you get to a conference finals, that is the kind of predicate from one season into the next. But goddammit, Kenny Atkinson is still a coach. I won't do it. I'm not going to do it. So instead, I have the 76ers. I have Oklahoma City. You can do an exact finish in the finals on the FanDuel Sportsbook, which is kind of fun.

Housenear 18 to one, the Oklahoma City Thunder beating the Philadelphia 76ers. It's going to be an absolute circus this season, regular season for the 76ers.

HouseThis is really just a bet on the idea that when the playoffs start, Joel Embiid and LeBron James will be more healthy than not. And I just think that they are extremely formidable come playoff time. You have a bunch of guys that have played in high leverage moments throughout their careers. guys with finals appearances, guys with rings.

HouseThat's not Joel Embiid, but the Jalen Brown thing. When you're talking about the kind of playoff guts that are necessary, the LeBron -Jalen Brown combo is fearsome. And I think Tyrese Maxey is really, you know, he was threatening all NBA first team for quite a bit of last season. I expect him to be the glue that holds this thing together.

HouseSo I'll go with the 76ers. I also love the story. I think it's a great story. It is a great story. House,
