NFL Week 7 Recap! Plus, Cowboys-Eagles Preview. | Ringer Wise Guys

DabbundoHe had basically played flawless football through the first six weeks of the season. It was inevitable he was going to have a bad game. You didn't expect it all to come in one moment for San Francisco, but I think if I had to be a little bit concerned, it's still just that this defense is not a championship defense.

DabbundoThey've looked better than they were last year, right? Remember last year, most of the season, and the Niners team just went up and down the field on them. They're not that bad. They're better this year with Morris. They're better schematically.

DabbundoThey can cover a little bit better with Warner healthy,

Dabbundobut it's still not a top defense. And if you compare them to even like the Seahawks or the Vikings, they are not even in the same stratosphere as maybe even like a Jacksonville up at the top there. So I would put the breaks on the 49ers defense, but I still think their offense is going to be just fine.

RaheemAll right. I think that, I think the result of that game was a little bit misleading.

RaheemSo you look at the, look at the box score for nine has had 26 first downs. They outgamed them in yard is 400 to 295, 6.2 yards per play to 4.7, 277 passing yards to two 13, one 23 rushing yards to 82. But ultimately it feels like the result of that game was the fact that they have four turnovers.

RaheemSo I look back at that game and I say, all right, this was just a down spot and a spot where the sharks were all over the Atlanta Falcons due to the injuries of the 49ers, but that was still a winnable game. If you're a 49ers fan, you got to look at that game and say, I'm very encouraged by what I saw because they, they basically put out C material and they were right there.
