Billso you think alright he's not going to be able to space the floor like Miles Turner did because he doesn't really shoot threes doesn't shoot threes at all

Billbut Miles Turner wasn't like an amazing three point shooter he was okay but OKC by the time we got midway through that series was like knock yourself out dude we're giving that to you every single time and Zubat's being around the basket playing off Halber I just feel like it's such a better fit for these guys And I also got to watch him in person, you know, a bunch of times.

BillAnd he was way better in 25, 26. I think he was a little hurt even before they traded him.

BillBut I just really like him. And I'm excited to see them with a real center. And I continue to be really bullish on Indiana. I don't know why people don't consider them a contender in the East.

BillYeah, Zubach is so different than Miles in the fact that he aims small and misses small in terms of like positionally, he doesn't really gamble the way that Miles does. Like the highs might not be as high in terms of like when Miles is flying around, he's long, he's athletic, he's blocking shots and things like that.

It's like Zubac is much more conservative, but he's very smart in the way that he's conservative as a defender. Like he's positionally really smart. So you may not get like the block totals, but I think that he processes the defensive side of the floor really well. And it's like, even though he doesn't space the floor the way Miles does, that hypotheticalness of Miles spacing the floor killed Indiana in some really critical moments where if you just think about, was

it game six or game five that he missed a couple just backbreaker threes?
