How Lane Johnson’s Retirement Will Affect the Eagles and More Questions for Week 5

PelisseroThat defense has been pretty salty. Durante Jones learned a lot from Brian Flores in Minnesota. I've been impressed with the young coordinators. It's a big game for them.

PelisseroGiants win that and they go to 4 -1. I think you definitely have to start saying you're taking it seriously, even though from week to week you may not 100 % know how confident they are in their QB1.

KapadiaI can't get there yet with the Giants. I mean, you watch that game against the Cardinals. You mentioned it. I mean, Jameis, he was taking more chances, so it was different than the previous weeks.

Kapadiabut I can't imagine that that guy's going to quarterback a division winner. All due respect this year, it's going to be a roller coaster, but there's going to be more downs than ups. And I feel like the rest of the roster isn't quite in position where you can make up for that. Now, here's where I will give them credit is John Harbaugh before the season, you know, he did the team meeting and everyone's making fun of him that that

Kapadiagot clipped. And we're wondering, well, the Ravens feel, you know, Ravens fans, any Ravens fan you talk to, they're like, We're good with this guy going. We need a new start here with a new coach.

KapadiaI think he's established that level of competence that they were looking for. When you have a backup quarterback in and you're winning games, I just don't think that happens with their previous regimes and their previous infrastructure on that coaching staff. So I don't think it's perfect. I think there are little morsels that you like.

KapadiaArvel Reese, the rookie, looks like he's a player. Instant impact. Instant impact for Arvel Reese. Even a guy like Deontay Banks. You know, these stories are always good sort of indicators about a coaching staff where it's like he's kind of buried. It looks like that wasn't a good pick. He's the cornerback. He was a first round pick in 2023.
