In context
KapadiaRodgers is playing better than he played last year. I just think that has been the case. Now, will that be the case the entire season? Again, at his age, you feel like there might be as you go on and take those hits. I mean, he was getting crushed again. We've had multiple conversations on this pod in three weeks where it's like, wow, Aaron Rodgers took a beating in that game.
KapadiaAnd without, you know, getting a second view of it, I wasn't sure. Are guys not open? Is he holding on to the football? Is he not pulling the trigger? Are they just having protection mishaps? it's always a bunch of those things together but man that drive at the end that throw the Metcalf down the left sideline where he's got to drop it in the bucket I'm like that's a big time throw by Aaron Rodgers and you know the one
Kapadiathing I think Steelers fans might be having the conversation is like if our quarterback's getting hit that much can we lean into the run game a little bit more it feels like Jalen Warren looks really good it feels like the offensive line is more comfortable when they're run blocking than pass blocking so that's something to keep an eye on as well I have more concerns about that Steelers defense now.
KapadiaI know we'll get to the Joey Porter trade. They had injuries on the defensive side of the ball yesterday where I really thought that had a chance to be a top five unit. And now I watch them in a game like that. And I'm like, I'm not sure. I think I might've gotten out over my skis in the preseason.
GilCan I ask you guys a question? Cause I feel like we're kind of wrapping up this game here. I'm going to move on. Did anyone, and this is somewhat related to this game, sort of related to this game. And if you happen to catch Mike Tomlin's Minecraft City viewing experience that went out this week, as of this morning, it had 1.5 million views on episode one of this series entitled Rooftops, Penthouses, and Urban Living.
GilHere's what I mean. The guy won the week. It was incredible. And I feel bad for the fact that people, Steelers fans in particular, kind of look at when they think he started this city and are comparing his postseason performance prior to starting the city to after. I feel like it's unfair. Granted, you can see he's invested a lot of time in this city of his.
GilOkay.
