In context
DabbundoYeah. Their pressure rate when they didn't blitz this year and last year was amongst the worst in the league. So that's a concern for the bears.
DabbundoThey've actually been pretty good on third downs. Dennis Allen has schemed up some nice blitzes, but they have, They've had trouble getting to third downs. Their run defense has been really bad in a lot of their games, especially even against Philly, a team that couldn't really run the ball on anybody this year.
DabbundoThey struggled with the run defense. So we knew where the talent deficiency was. And it's not just that they get Simmons, but also Montez Sweat comes back now for this game on Monday night from his suspension. So Chicago's defensive line shows a little bit more metal. I guess the question is, how good does the defense need to be?
DabbundoDoes it have to be a great defense? Is it to be a good defense? I think that's kind of the question because we know the offense is going to be somewhere in the top six or seven in the league pretty much every year, especially this year. But I still think the question is, can they go from 20th to 10th?
DabbundoThat's where the fun
Salcomes in. And the fun comes in for us and gambling. How are we going to bet this team, Raheem? And we talked off air. Didn't really move the odds a lot. Their win total stays between 10 and a half and 11 and a half right now. they are technically tied for third as far as Super Bowl odds, 10 to one tied with Seattle, only San Francisco and the bills ahead of them.
RaheemYeah.
