In context

Duncanis super retreat heavy but he's the second defender he is backing up five

Lowesix feet he's and he's at half court and and it's hard to make the first pass quickly when you're going backwards like that that's one of the things that stuck out for me when he's blitzed it's pretty hit or miss and i want him to get off the ball faster but like you said part of that is an experience thing and the lamello void i mean obviously kobe white is a very good player he will see how that works

Lowei think it'll be fine naz reed is a spacing four that'll open up the floor more than it was last year when miller and canipple played without lamello last year they were like minus 10 per 100 possessions now when you throw kobe white in it was very limited minute like very limited but it looked good so i'm just like the burden on him is going to be different he and con canipple are both when they're healthy con's already hurt

Lowetoo hornets have like a bunch of injuries already um they're they're gonna have to do a little bit more of the heavy lifting on the ball and like all of that make like i think i don't think the hornets are a playoff team this year. I think they will take a tiny step back.

LoweThat's totally fine. That was built into the LaMelo trade. I just think they're a super intriguing team for tons of different reasons.

LoweBrandon Miller being the very top one.

DuncanNo, I think that is more than fair. And I think as I'm thinking about Charlotte structurally, because they led the league in like guard screens by a very wide margin. And when you have LaMelo, you can do that as he can initiate and he can also be part of those ghosts. I do wonder what that is going to look like when it is Brandon Miller setting those ghost screens or those brush screens for Kobe White instead of LaMelo?
