SyedI think usually, like a quarterback's middle of the field throw percentage, it's just not really going to change that much from one year to the next year. So if that is like Mannion, like him philosophically, that is how I see offense.

SyedI think I'd be a little bit surprised if that's what it was. I think it's hey, this is what is going to be comfortable with our quarterback, with our offensive line, with our run game. This is going to get thrown. This is what's going to work. So, it was a small sample size overall.

SyedI think we can continue to kind of track it, but I know Jalen Hurts is towards the bottom and middle of the field throw rate.

SyedI guess I'm just not expecting that to be a drastic change. So, if the offensive coordinator has to say alright, well, we're not going to be able run crossers consistently through the middle of the field. Offense throughout the league do that. You saw the Jaguars do it a ton to a bunch of success even in this game, but we still have to do something.

SyedSo if this is your kind of middle ground, do I love it? No, but like, all right, well, if the ball is going to get to the receiver, then, you know, that can be something you feel good about at least.

SyedI got

Kapadiato the same conclusion here, and I don't know why it's this game, but I just wrote down in my notes that at this point I think we can just say Jalen Hurts is not going to target the middle of the field at anything other than a bottom five rate in the NFL. If and when he proves me wrong, we can revisit it.
