LoweBam just always, just never gets enough love in this awards race. He's always like, yeah, I'll put him to the fifth guy on the first team all defense. Yeah. Both the Thompson twins,

LoweOG Ananobi yep Rudy Gobert Evan Mobley he he did win it relatively recently right and Scotty Barnes those are my eight finalists for this fake non -Wemby defense player of the year Chet's the safe pick I think we know they're going to have like a top two defense in the NBA and he'll be the best big man defender on it um I am going to go out of the box and pick Scotty Barnes as my non -Wemby defensive player

Loweof the year. I thought he was sensational last year and hit another level in the playoffs.

LoweAnd if Kawhi relieves him and Emmanuel quickly relieves him of a little bit of like, I've got to do so much heavy lifting and it's like physical and grimy, and it takes a lot out of me. I think this guy could be like four stocks a game, great rim protection numbers, switch across every position, Raptors finish in the top four in defense.

LoweI can see a Scotty Barnes defense player of the year. Okay. So I'm going to pick Scotty Barnes.

GoldsberryI love Scotty Barnes.

GoldsberryAnd one of the coolest things I could say about LeBron James at his absolute apex is I think he could guard anybody else in the NBA. And that is, they get very big compliment from the fastest point guard to the biggest, big LeBron at his peak. And I think that's where I think Scotty's defensive strength is, is he can almost hang with the biggest bigs and the fastest guards.
