In context
LoweI think you can, but it's really, really hard.
LoweAnd one of them has to be your best ball handler or among your best ball handlers, or you have to have like LeBron or Luka or Cade, hopefully on your team to simplify everything and make it work. It's actually, it's doable, but it's hard. But I'm like you, like I'm rooting for the Pistons to succeed because I like an NBA where there's a lot of different ways to win.
LoweAnd I think a Sar Thompson could take more of a ball handling role or dribble handoff role, like just something to put him on the ball and not off the ball.
LoweJalen Dern's 22 years old. He's going to get better and better and better. They should be a great defensive team. They should be a great rebounding team. I just, I'll say this over and over again. You don't get to go superstar shopping at the superstar grocery store. This is what the Pistons had.
LoweIf they dump Jalen Dern yesterday or in two months, they're going to have to get assets to then use to get another big man who's as good as Jalen Dern, but maybe can shoot. Easier said than done.
Lowebut that was an interesting walk down walk down history because it's possible but it's suboptimal and you make a great point like I'm looking at history you're looking at the future like here are the teams you gotta beat at the top of the West like you gotta be perfect to beat those teams yeah
Nashif it was flatter at the top maybe you could find a way or an easier way a more seamless way to win those margins you talked about I think that's the key here is how can they find those margins you know obviously Houston's done it on the offensive glass with Steven Adams at all.
