- Milwaukee might have the better offense than the Dodgers in the NLCS.
“I think Milwaukee might have the better offense in this series.”
Brewers swept the Dodgers 4-0 in the NLCS and outscored them 21-11. They also led in hits (32-23) and homers (7-1), so Milwaukee had the better offense.

In context
DabbundoThe fact they got it done in four is so important because now they have Miz in game one and they have Miz in game five and they'd have Miz on short rest a couple innings in game seven if necessary. And they're going to have Logan Henderson in game two and game six. And both guys are going to be really well -rested.
DabbundoAnd all of a sudden, they have the starting pitching to go toe -to -toe with the Dodgers in most of the series.
DabbundoAnd when you look at these two offenses right now, Shohei Otani is not healthy.
DabbundoWe talked about it on Tuesday. We said under hits, he went over. He went over again yesterday. He did have a walk and scored a run. That's nice, but Otani's not healthy. And this offense, when he's just pedestrian, is not elite by any stretch. In fact, I think Milwaukee might have the better offense in this series.
DabbundoSo last year, everybody remembered when the Dodgers came in and they're starting pitching, dominated Milwaukee's lineup, completely shut them down, and they won every game conceding one run per game.
DabbundoBut I think this Milwaukee offense is better metrically this year. They do hit the ball harder more consistently this year than they did last year. And now they have Miz. And Miz at the top of this rotation to go toe -to -toe with the Dodgers. I'm looking at plus 145, plus 150 with home field advantage and saying, you know what?
DabbundoI think Milwaukee's very live in this series. And I think they're underpriced right now. I think they're close to a coin flip to win this. This reminds me a lot, honestly, of the World Series last year, where everybody just kind of assumed it was a foregone conclusion that the Dodgers were going to win.
