MacMahonThis year is a developmental year with the young guys, and then in the summer, they have a chance to be very aggressive in the trade market and or look for them to be a team that tries to poach restricted free agents again. And that's where you have the restricted free agency thing before was like, teams don't even bother trying to poach other guys, whatever.

MacMahonBut with these second aprons, there's going to be tough decisions or there's going to be talented players that move teams and restrict free agency in the years to come.

WrightYeah, I agree with that. And you almost feel like they really had to move on from Jive just so Tumas Salo could have sort of like a clean slate and a real chance to sort of implement what he's doing with these young guys.
