And it's always going to be toughest for the first one to kind of break through.

but you know I encourage a lot of our you know this new generation of talent here in the Philippines you know I try to encourage all of them that for anybody who has NBA aspirations the amount of work and discipline that it takes to be the first one not just to be Filipino but to be the first one you know it's going to take you know a lot but I do feel that we're close and you know sometimes it's

just a matter of combining the work and the discipline with the opportunity.

WindhorstAnd I hope in the near future we're able to have one. Well, I'll encourage the Filipino fans. They don't need my encouragement. And he has the flag on his arm, the three stars and the sun, which is part of the Filipino flag, on his arm. I think the three stars represent the three regions of the country.

WindhorstIs that correct, on the flag? I don't know if I'm 100 % right about that. But he's got it on his arm, literally wears it on his sleeve.
